Your best bet since you want to fly out of Midway is to sign up for deals through Southwest. Midway is a small airport and there are a lot of airlines that do not fly in/out of there. I am registered for Southwest’s fare deals and received an e-mail not that long ago for discounted flights to/from Orlando. I would certainly recommend watching some of the bigger airline companies that fly out of O’Hare. You might be able to get a good deal from one of those airlines, although that is a commute.

As for the lodging, you can not stay in the Magic Kingdom. There are not hotel rooms inside any of the parks. The cheapest place to stay on Disney property, and therefor being able to take advantage of the below perks, is the Value Resorts. The All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, All-Star Movies and Pop Century are all value resorts that start at $82/night during the value season. Staying in a Disney Value Resort give you the same basic perks as staying in the most expensive room at the Grand Floridian.

    PERKS TO STAYING ON-SITE
Disney’s Magical Express (free transportation to and from the airport)
Free luggage delivery to your room (bypass baggage claim)
Extra Magic Hours (a park opens 1 hour early and/or stays open up to 3 hours later)
Free Disney transportation to all of the Disney theme parks, runs approx every 10 to 20 minutes
Purchases made in the park will be delivered to the front desk of your hotel free
If you establish charging options on your room key all purchases will be on one bill

Sound advice already, but always make sure you also try one of the big consolidators, like Dohop.com or Kayak – there is a good chance that either of them will find a flight that you will not find directly with an airline.
I work for Dohop myself, so feel free to be in touch if you run into problems with using the site.

go to Southwest, Spirit or Airtran web sites directly, you’ll find the best rates. I would check travelocity, orbits or hotels.com for hotels then deal directly with hotels for group rates – or any of the disney resorts
